Mogadishu – July 15th, 2014: The Acting SRCC-Honorable Lydia Wanyoto Mutende took a tour of the Mission Headquarters within basecamp to appreciate herself of the living conditions of AMISOM troops.

The Peace and Security Council of the African Union (AU), at its 425th meeting, held on 24 March 2014, was briefed on the situation in Somalia by the Commissioner for Peace and Security and the Special Representative of the Chairperson of the Commission (SRCC) for Somalia and Head of the African
